Cavalier and Safari Springs are playing alongside some great shorts from John Morton and Fergal Costello.

Cavalier Online
The short film that I made last year has finished its travels and is now on Youtube.
I'm amazed at the response Cavalier has received at its various screenings around the world and want to say a massive thank you to all the festival programmers and of course to everyone who helped make the film too.
The film has a great cast with Peter McGann, Aoife Spratt, Roisin Dolan and Kenny Gaughan. Not to mention the help we got from Liam Doherty, Clodagh Feaheny and Kieran Somers.
The brilliant score was made by Callum Condron.

Rollin' Empire
I got a chance to work with Rollin' Empire recently to make their first ever video for a track called R.I.S.E.
Their first single, Fall can be heard here
They're currently in the middle of recording their first album at the moment so there'll be lots more to come from them this year.
Cavalier In New York
Cavalier has a New York screening coming in April as part of The Iron Mule Comedy Film Festival so in honour of the theatre where it will be screened, here's the new poster..... And let me say, "May the Force be with you."
Cavalier at Chicago Irish Festival 2015
Cavalier will play at this years Chicago Irish Film Festival which starts February 28th.
Theres a an incredible selection of shorts just announced on the CIFF website and I'm thrilled that Cavalier is part of it.
Dawn of the Rise of The Planet of The Apes
Had great fun over the last few weeks putting together some spec ads with Anthony Barry, James Feely and Wayne Farry.
Our encounter involved a lot more partial nudity than usual but as a result there was a much more productive outcome, make from that what you will.
This will all make (slightly) more sense when the finished product is online next month, until then here's some screencaps from the two separate advertisements we shot.
Dead Out
"3 High school football players on the way to a bar stumble upon an old cemetery. What starts off as a fun, soon turns to fear..."
Anthony Barry made this great short earlier in the year as an 'homage to horror films (Mostly Italian horror films) of the 70's/80's, inspired by the likes of Dario Argento, Sam Raimi , George A. Romero, Lucio Fulci, Ruggero Deodato, Mario Bava etc.. So, bad dubbing, synth, colourful lighting, style over substance and generally rough around the edges.'
Its hilarious and and well worth a watch. After which you should check out Kung Foolz an earlier exercise in stylish, genre madness from Anthony with a lot of the same cast..... they haven't changed a bit, have they.

Cavalier at Little Cinema & IndieCork 2014
Massive thank you to Little Cinema for showing Cavalier as part of their Best of the Fest screening with the great, Chris O'Dowd and also to Mick Hannigan, Una Feely and everyone else at IndieCork for giving Cavalier its second Cork outing this year. A brilliant weekend of films, festivals and more beards than you can shake a plaid shirt at!
Richard Harris International Film Festival
Cavalier has been selected as one of ten Irish short films to screen at the upcoming Richard Harris International Film Festival. The festival takes place from 24th - 26th of October with the short film screenings happening on October 25th.

Fresh from its win as Best Comedy at the Underground Short Film Festival in Cork and its screening at Underground Cinema Film Festival on Friday, Cavalier has some more appearances in the not too distant future.
The next chance to catch it will be as part of The Little Cinema's first ever festival from September 26th - 28th. Then on to IndieCork (Oct 12th - 19th) and over to the Aesthetica Short Film Festival (Nov 6th - 9th) for its English premiere.
I'll post new screenings as they become available and some clips from the film sometime soon too.
Little Cinema at Electric Picnic
'Life Is Shit' starring Peter McGann is playing as part of Little Cinema's Electric Picnic screenings this weekend. Its our ode to bleak, hard hitting, kitchen sink dramas and probably the number one reason Ken Loach decided to make a film in Leitrim [citation needed]
Peter also has a screening of his short 'The Eyeball Waltz'. Its a sweet, melancholic comedy starring David Thompson and Alexandra Christle. I also appear briefly but modesty prevents me from telling you just how bloody great I am in the film.
