PRESS
"Locus of Control is a hazy dreamlike dark comedy, with sharp satire and a humanist touch" - Stephen Porzio, Headstuff

"The Irish horror renaissance lives on" - Hot Press Magazine

"Sean Clancy’s outstanding debut feature is a surreal and unnerving mixture of dark comedy and disquieting tension. Featuring top class performances from its main cast, Locus of Control is a fine example of budget filmmaking reaching far beyond its economic strictures.” – David Desmond, DSFFF Festival Director

"Locus of Control, is a squirmy and appealing black comedy with a bleeding heart." -  Luke Maxwell, Dublin Inquirer

"Clancy’s film talks more to the Irish experience over the tough years of the recession, and ponders on whether we control our lives or not. Locus of Control is wonderfully realized and blends these dark elements with a unique tone as the main character descends into the bowels of institutionalized bureaucracy and questions his own place in the universe."         - Peter Morris, Headstuff

"Locus of Control is a clever and insightful dark comedy. This is a bright and intriguing debut feature, from an exciting filmmaker who seamlessly blends a nightmare landscape with contemporary issues. Brooding dreams are dashed to make way for tomorrow." - IndieCork Film Festival
